Their story is about innovation and a bright future, so why not let that lead the theme? That’s how “A Stellar Start of the New Year” was born. An inspiring setting, real conversations, and a buzzing networking arena – that’s what the very first Governance Summit by De Bestuurder was all about. Under the theme ‘Creating good vibes in the boardroom’, CEOs, shareholders, top executives, and board members dove into the topics that truly matter in every boardroom – from leadership and trust to family business governance and the role of private equity in times of change.
In between sessions, there was time to connect over great food at the sponsor booths in the networking arena. With a custom event website and personalized email campaigns, we managed to pack the room to the very last seat. Here’s to the next edition!

Together with Mediafin (De Tijd & L’Echo), we launc the Changemakers Awards to life to celebrate Belgian companies driving sustainable innovation. From over 200 submissions, a professional jury selected 30 finalists, and during the big award show in March, three winners were crowned.
All finalists were put in the spotlight through a striking AI-powered art exhibition, where every innovation was transformed into a unique artwork with the help of ChatGPT and Midjourney. The expo quickly became the conversation starter of the evening – and every finalist got to take their artwork home.
25 years ZorgConnect
When your company turns 25, you celebrate big! And that’s exactly what ZorgConnect did. Colleagues and partners took over the Verbeke Foundation to look back on their shared journey and have a peek at what’s next. There were inspiring talks, a fresh new branding reveal, guided art tours and plenty of laughs with Bert Kruismans on stage. The evening continued with a delicious street food buffet, live music and a DJ who kept the dance floor packed all night long.

Dance acts were used to indicate themes, a 270° projection had to make the plenary sessions unforgettable and break-outs were created to go more in-depth. With an impressive 9.3/10 satisfaction score, the event celebrated inspiring talks, enriched networking, and an enthusiastic call to action.
