Flanders Make: A Spectacular New Year
Every February, Flanders Make hosts its annual internal scientific conference, followed by their New Year celebration. For two consecutive years, we've had the opportunity to develop the creative concept and manage the event from start to finish.

A Stellar 2025
For the first edition, our ambition was clear from the start: we didn’t want another typical winter wonderland theme, but a concept that truly connected with Flanders Make’s mission. That’s how A Stellar 2025 was born.
Flanders Make represents a future where Flemish manufacturing continues to push boundaries and lead through innovation. With the New Year event, we wanted to amplify that vision. Just like the universe, innovation has no limits — there’s always more to explore, more to create, and always new stars to reach.
For one night, we transformed student restaurant Alma into a piece of the cosmos. Lighting played a crucial role: the entire atmosphere depended on getting it exactly right. We fine-tuned every technical detail to create a seamless experience. At the center of the dance floor, we installed a central stage surrounded by a high-end sound system, fully immersing guests in the experience.
Winter Social Club 2026
In January 2026, Flanders Make once again brought its colleagues together for their annual New Year celebration. The challenge was clear: transform the green, rather cold cafeteria at Thomas More into a warm and welcoming environment.
We introduced the Winter Social Club concept. Using trusses and deep blue drapery, we completely reshaped the space into an intimate club setting. The standout feature on arrival was an ice bar, where the Flanders Make logo was live-carved on site. Throughout the evening, a DJ and live band created a dynamic flow; starting with atmospheric background music and gradually building towards a more energetic vibe that naturally drew guests onto the dance floor.
